Short answer: the best Changelly alternatives depend on why you're leaving. To compare many quotes at once, use an aggregator such as Trocador (graded A, adds no fee of its own). To get a lower posted fee on common coins, use FixedFloat (0.5% float). For the widest coin list, try SimpleSwap or ChangeNOW. If you want a service that states it never asks for ID, start with PegasusSwap or xChange.me, both graded A. Details, caveats and a comparison table follow.
Changelly has run since 2015 and is one of the best-known no-account swap services, but it isn't the right fit for everyone. Its terms list the United States, the UK, Germany, Japan, India and Turkey as restricted countries. Flagged swaps are put on hold until you provide a government ID, and its fixed-rate "dynamic fee" isn't stated in advance. It holds a SwapRaven grade of C. Below are the alternatives worth comparing, based on each service's own published terms and SwapRaven's listing data (October 2026). This is general information, not financial advice.

1. Trocador: compare everyone at once
Trocador is an aggregator. It quotes many established instant exchanges side by side, shows its own KYC rating for each partner, and sends your order to the one you choose. It says it adds no fee on top of the partner's rate, so the quote you see is the partner's quote. It works with minimal JavaScript and has a Tor address, and its SwapRaven listing tracks roughly 2,000 coins. It's the quickest way to see whether Changelly is actually the cheapest option for your pair today. You can visit Trocador here. Disclosure: that is a referral link; we may earn a commission at no cost to you, and it does not affect any grade.
2. PegasusSwap and xChange.me: stated no-KYC policies
If Changelly's ID-on-flag policy is the problem, choose a service whose stated policy is different. PegasusSwap lists a "never" KYC policy, a 0.5% to 1.5% fee range and more than 200 coins on SwapRaven, and holds an A grade. xChange.me has operated since 2017, runs a Tor mirror and a command-line client, and is also graded A. No service can promise it will never refuse a deposit, so read our no-KYC swap checklist before a large swap.
3. FixedFloat: posted low fees
FixedFloat publishes its prices: 0.5% for a float rate and 1% for a fixed rate, plus network fees. That compares well with Changelly's 0.25% float fee once you add Changelly's unstated fixed-rate fee. FixedFloat needs no registration and supports Bitcoin over Lightning. Its coin list is short, about 70 currency and network options. It was hacked twice in 2024, and its terms exclude US residents. See FixedFloat vs ChangeNOW for the full breakdown.
4. SimpleSwap and StealthEX: large catalogs, no sign-up
SimpleSwap states 2,800+ cryptocurrencies across 100+ networks and routes orders to 20+ providers. It needs no account for most swaps and offers loyalty discounts of up to 20% for registered users. Know its terms before you start: it may require KYC on flagged transactions, frozen funds can be held for up to a year, and recovering them costs 1% (minimum $100). Its terms also list the US among restricted regions.
StealthEX advertises 2,000+ coins with no registration. It says verification is needed only in rare cases, such as a flagged transaction or a blacklisted wallet. Its service fee isn't published but is included in the estimate you see. Unclaimed refunds start losing 5% every 30 days after 90 days, so claim any refund promptly.
5. ChangeNOW and SideShift: familiar names, different rules
ChangeNOW is the closest like-for-like replacement, with 1,000+ assets on 110+ chains. Its terms, however, make KYC mandatory for residents of the EU, US and several other countries, and charge $50 for refunds caused by user error. We compare the two directly in Changelly vs ChangeNOW.
SideShift.ai is a no-account, direct-to-wallet exchange with 200 to 300+ assets. Its fixed rate locks for 15 minutes "including all fees", but you must send the exact quoted amount. The main site blocks US users; a separate SideShift.us service covers most US states.
Alternatives for US users
Changelly, ChangeNOW's main service, FixedFloat, SimpleSwap and sideshift.ai all exclude US residents in their terms. US users have a few routes left: services whose terms don't name the US (read them before sending), ChangeNOW Pro with an account, SideShift.us in supported states, or buying on a regulated exchange and withdrawing to your own wallet. For that last route, see buying on a CEX and withdrawing to your wallet. Whichever service you use, follow the law where you live.
How to choose in two minutes
- Decide what matters most: price, coin coverage, or KYC policy.
- Get a live quote for your exact pair and amount from two or three services, or from one aggregator.
- Compare the amount you will receive, not the advertised fee.
- Read the refund and hold terms, and enter a refund address.
- Send a small test first. See how to check a swap exchange is legit.

FAQ
What is the best alternative to Changelly?
For most people, an aggregator like Trocador, because it compares Changelly-style exchanges for you and shows each partner's KYC rating. If you want a single exchange with a stated never-KYC policy, look at PegasusSwap.
Is there a Changelly alternative with lower fees?
FixedFloat posts 0.5% on float-rate swaps. Changelly's posted float fee is 0.25%, but its fixed-rate fee isn't disclosed. Compare the final received amount for your pair, because spreads matter more than headline fees.
Which Changelly alternatives don't require an account?
All of the services above let you swap without an account. KYC can still be triggered on flagged deposits at most of them; check each listing's KYC policy.
